Great video!I'm doing my Orthopaedics/Rheumatology unit right now and I was unsure about why the name tendonitis was still used even though there is no proper inflammatory process... So from what I can gather from your video, "tendonitis" is simply the word we use for the pain symptoms that may be present with tendinosis. Is that correct? Also what mechanism causes pain? Which nerve fibers are irritated and how? Is it secondary to chronic stretching because of loss of tensile strength?
